I’m an advanced 500 hour Certified Yoga & Meditation Instructor with more than 30yrs of professional experience AND I have 2 young adult daughters (so I understand managing stress). While I’m not a therapist or LICSW, what I do is a great precursor or compliment to talk therapy. My clients often share that working with me feels relatable and comfortable, and that the ‘healthy homework’ I give them creates real accountability. These practices help regulate their nervous system, deepen their breathing, and bring them back to a grounded state of being.
I’ve been teaching yoga, meditation, and mindfulness since 2004 to tweens/teens, adults, and Veterans. I encourage my students to continue their practice off the mat by living with compassion and kindness for themselves and others. In addition to being an entrepreneur, I’m expanding my professional career pursuing the TESL licensure.
Yoga isn’t something I do, it’s how I live. I’m a steward for Mother Nature, a volunteer, a fundraiser, and a walker for cancer research. I show up for family and friends with the same intention I bring to my classes. Things that fill my bucket include hiking, traveling and expanding my knowledge (like learning to play guitar). My daughters are my greatest inspiration and my part of moral compass, they’re the reason I keep choosing growth, presence, and this wild earth-school journey we’re all on together.
